One of the few items that require maintenance on the golf cart is the tires. And mostly just the tire pressure as well as an occasional checking of the wheel lug nuts for proper tightness. The most popular golf cart tire is the 18X8.50X8 which requires between 18 to 24 psi depending on the individual's preference. Most manufacturer's suggest right around that 20psi mark. We advise people to check their tire pressure at the same time as they check their battery fluid levels. If each time they check them they are fine then extend the testing to every other time and so forth.
Some of the golf carts will have a car tire such as the one that is shown. This one is a P205/50-10 and the higher profile one will be a P205/65-10. These are street tires that will require more pressure than the 8X8.50X8 golf cart tire. Usually these tires will have a psi of around 30-40. The less the psi the smoother the ride but the higher pressure will give the cart a ,small amount, but none the less a greater speed than the softer pressure.

The larger tires such as the ALLTRAIL that is shown are a bit different. Even though they are larger in size most of them will require a significantly lower amount of psi than the others. Usuall these 20-25" tires will only need 10-15psi tops! Most tires will have the air pressurde requirements right on the side of the tire for you to read. Some of the print is so small you will need a magnifier to read them!!!
We hope this info is helpful for you and remember: use and enjoy your golf cart: that's what you bought it for!
